EVENT COORDINATOR
Fretboard Brewing Events Coordinator
Full time including minimal evening and weekend hours
Hybrid remote and on-site schedule
Candidate must be willing and able to travel between three Cincinnati locations (Blue Ash, Norwood, and Harrison) as well as even and festival locations.
As a member of the Fretboard Brewing team, your primary responsibility will be the day-to-day sales and marketing of our private event spaces in our taprooms. Additionally, you will be responsible for as event management for activities and festivals in which Fretboard is a sponsor or participant.
Event Coordinator Role:
· Sales activities to promote maximum bookings of taproom and private event space
· Communicating with potential bookers about availability, catering packages and booking details.
· Managing private bookings and events, in taproom and private event space
· Managing and organizing community events (including small expos/shows), including managing vendors, non-profit partners, etc.
· Helping with band bookings and supporting taproom General Managers with in-taproom events and activities
· Networking at various events including Chamber of Commerce and local community events
· Coordinate the logistics, information-gathering, and promotion of events to drive brand awareness and generate sales
· Support and assist Fretboard Brewing marketing team as needed
· Support and assist operational leads for sales-sponsored outside events, including promotion of participation on social media}
· Provide overall marketing and administrative support for daily marketing activities to achieve company-wide objectives and goals
· Track marketing performance metrics including customer reviews
Experience
· Min 2 years in sales, marketing or hospitality experience required
· Degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
· Bonus if experienced with event coordination and promotions
· Knowledge of best practices with digital marketing channels and platforms (e.g., email, websites, SEO, social, CRM systems, etc.)
· Experience with writing and proofing marketing content
· Familiarity of inbound and outbound marketing and/or willingness to learn
· Understanding of and familiarity with branding and style guides
· Digital savvy and competent in MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel
· Strong project management skills
